You can use the count parameter to choose the number of items displayed.

The search string searches the entry titles for strings beginning with the string parameter - for example put 'A' here to select only entries beginning with 'A'.

Use 'order' to choose the ordering. The choices include: random, recently modified, alphabetical, most popular, least popular.

Use the category, field and item id parameters to select entries. These can be single ids or comma separated lists. For example, if you put 1,2,3 for the category id parameter and select a random ordering, then you can show random entries from these categories.

If you put 'Use Current Category' to 'yes' the category selected will be taken from the current page - so you can use the module to display selected entries from the current category.

You can choose whether to show items in child categories as well as the current parent category.

You can choose the fields displayed using the field id parameter.
