Hello again,
your extensions come with JS and CSS files... i recently had problems with other 3rdparty extensions and my chosen template framework. This framework does optimize and minify CSS and JS files... Yes, in special cases i can exclude certain files from this compression, but it would be interesting to know, if your extensions would still work IN a compressed and minified file.

Thanks for listening.

Sorry, I can't answer that definitively since it is not practical to test them in every possible situation that might occur on a website. However I don't know of any obvious reason why they woud not work if they are compressed.

The javascript files that our extensions use are all fairly small, they are all designed to work using mootools which is the javascript library that ships with Joomla, so there are no big downloads of javascript libraries required, unlike many extensions around which require JQuery or some other library. So mostly the size of the stylesheet and javascript files would be about 20k or so for a typical extension, though this could be reduced for example by removing whitespace.

Size is not the major issue... HTTP requests and file count is more important to me. And the convenience to have all CSS in one place.
Is it possible to disable your CSS files, so I could copy the important stuff into the main CSS file. A little handy option, I think I have seen it in "DisplayNews BK" and K2?. It comes with default CSS, but in params you could disable it completely.

You would need to edit out a couple of lines from the script that add the stylesheets, I would be happy to tell you which ones if you want to do that.

As time goes by...

Would you mind to add an option into your module parameters... like I mentioned in my previous post. e.g. K2, DisplayNews BK

We will consider adding this as an option if there is a demand for it. So far you are the only person who appears to want it.
