Hello all,

first of all thanks for your great work.
I've two questions, maybe you can help me as I didn't find anything in the forum to my topic.

The product image loaded by Content AmazonWS should have a link to amazon, just like the "buy" button.
Is there any way to do that? If so, where can i make that change?

Question on the side: I use brand layout. Can I somehow make the whole "features" section disappear? I just want the picture, price and the buy button.

Thanks in advance for your reply and have a nice week.

Hello, yes it is fairly straightforward to do both these things by making your own custom layout.

1. Make a copy of the 'brand' layout file, which is in the folder/amazonWS/tmpl, call it for example 'custom.php'.

2. Use a text editor to edit it. Delete these individual lines:
<?php echo $lists[$i]->features; ?>

and
<?php echo $lists[$i]->editorialReview; ?>

and
<?php echo $lists[$i]->reviews; ?><br />

3. To make the image into a link, edit this line:
<?php echo $lists[$i]->image; ?>

change to
<a href="<?php echo $lists[$i]->amazonLink; ?>" target="_blank"><?php echo $lists[$i]->image; ?></a>

4. save the file, and upload it to the plugin folder amazonWS/tmpl, you will be able to use it as your layout.

Thanks a lot. That's what i searched for.

As we're already talking about changing the layout, maybe you could answer me one final question.
I attached a screenshot of three articles in a categorie-blog layout. Each article features an amazonws-Plugin.

In the middle of the screenshot you can see, that the price and buy button are on the left of the product image.
I want the price to be displayed always under the image. I've already tried achieving this with chrome developer console but couldn't make it fit. I've always been bad with those things, but maybe i just didn't find the right position to make that change.

Do you have a clue for me?

You can try adding a line break immediately after the image, eg
<a href="<?php echo $lists[$i]->amazonLink; ?>" target="_blank"><?php echo $lists[$i]->image; ?></a>
<br style="clear:both" />

or it is possible that adding a style of "float:none;" to the image might work.

Or you could put the image inside a div element with a width of 100%, eg
<div style="width:100%">
<a href="<?php echo $lists[$i]->amazonLink; ?>" target="_blank"><?php echo $lists[$i]->image; ?></a>
</div>

The thinking behind the last one is it will put the image inside a container which takes up 100% of the width of the container that it is in, so there is no room for the text to wrap around.
