change template was created by lalancuras
hello, thanks for this plugin.
I would love to transform the template to get a bit like on aawp (wordpress) see the images below.

I would like to change the color of the buy now button: with these css: linear-gradient (to bottom, # f5d78e, # eeb933) than amazon

can we add a personal description of the product?

thanks a lot for your help

There is some information on how to override the templates here: https://www.spiralscripts.co.uk/support/faq/using-templates-with-the-amazon-web-services-plugin.html

The search layout looks most similar to the layout that you want, so you could try making a new template based on this, it is the file 'amazonWS/tmpl/search.php

The style which controls the gradient is in the file amazonWS.css:-
.btn-amazonws {
	color: #ffffff;
	text-shadow: 0 -1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25);
	background-color: #006dcc;
	background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #0088cc, #0044cc);
	background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0 0, 0 100%, from(#0088cc), to(#0044cc));
	background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, #0088cc, #0044cc);
	background-image: -o-linear-gradient(top, #0088cc, #0044cc);
	background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, #0088cc, #0044cc);
	background-repeat: repeat-x;
	border-color: #0044cc #0044cc #002a80;
	border-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25);
 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#ff0088cc', endColorstr='#ff0044cc', GradientType=0);
 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(enabled=false);
}

You just need to edit the gradient values.

Note that you upload the stylesheet to the Joomla media folder (media/amazonws/css), not the plugin folder

It looks like the styles are being overwritten by something else, possibly something in your template.

Also I notice that there is an issue with the amazonWS.css stylesheet, there seem to be 2 sets of styles for the .btn-amazonws elements, as the second one will always take priority make sure that you change the gradients there too, although I think that you have done so. It is something we will need to look at.

You can try making the elements matching styles more specific, eg use
.btn-amazonws, a.btn.btn-amazonws{
....

}

because of the way that css works, the more specific styles will take priority.
