<p>When I enable system cache I lose formatting in Featured Item Carousel. It seems to work, but after the first refresh of the page I end up with a simple list. I'm using Carousel to show Joomla core items - just in case that makes any difference.</p>

<p>Any thoughts on why this is happening?</p>

<p>The stylesheet and the scr ipts required by the module aren't loaded when the system cache in enabled. This appears to be a Joomla bug - for some reason the addScrip t and addstyleSheet methods don't work.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I can only suggest that you don't use the cache - or if you must, you can load the scr ipts by adding them to the template for the module, I will email you how to do this if you want.</p>
<p>It's a bit difficult to add the info to this forum, because each time I try to add the word scr ipt, the page won't load - annoying.</p>
<p>If anyone can recommend a better forum system I would be interested.</p>
