Hi support@spiral scripts,

I've enabled the 'Use GD for images' option in the module settings. The module loads in the frontend, but the thumbnails stay empty.

What can be the problem here?

Specs:
PHP version 5.2.14
GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)

Is it possible that there's an issue in the combination Featured Items Module and Form2Content? Does FIM requires certain permission-settings perhaps?

It could be a problem with the permissions on the thumbnail script. The thumbnail script is in the module file assets/resize.php

You may find that changing the permissions of the thumbnail script to 755 may help.

If not can you send me the URL of your site? I may be able to tell you what the problem is. If you are running on localhost then that may be the source of your problem - GD tends not to work very well in such a situation.

Hi Boggler,

changing the permissions to 755 didn't resolve the issue.

But changing the permissions from the cache-directory inside the mod_featureditems_pro directory to 777 did.

So you we're right that it was permission related. Thank you for the support.
