Hi,

First I want to say that I love this module and is perfect for one of my clients. I have articles which have YouTube Videos embedded and I don't want to add a photo to the article so it shows as the thumbnail, I would like the YouTube Video to show instead. Is this possible? It doesn't seem to show when I use JCE Editor to add the URL for the Video inside the article.

Hello Cat,

firstly can you say which module you are using?

I assume it is one of the featured items modules. As they are at the moment they would not be able to show a Youtube video, the reason being that this is not an image.

Youtube videos are Flash applications embedded using the html object tag - quite a different creature from an image.

However I will think about adding support for Youtube videos, it should not be difficult, and it is probably a feature that a lot of people would like.
