Purchased a while back. Not sure as I will have to check the emails.

I would like to make it to where the file only shows HTTP and not HTTPS as this is causing problems with the Google image bot and then becomes a whole ssl robots.txt thing. Figured nip it in the component and for all the links and file to show HTTP.

Is there a way to set this in the component or does it require the component to be hacked?

This sounds like a Joomla routing problem really, the product feed does not impose either http or https.

You could try setting the base url for your shop (on the advanced tab). Also you could try setting the base url of your site in your Joomla configuration.php file.

Not really a problem. I like the backend being HTTPS and there are other areas of course on the site that are secure. Just the products are not and the feed is getting the HTTPS because of the backend setting. I was hoping for a route around so that I do not have to disable any of those settings. I could just set up a 301 redirect but I think that the XML file puts all the links with HTTPS as well.

If not that is ok I will figure another direction to go. :) Was just wishing for a code patch. Thank you though.

NVM I figured it out. lol There are 2 ways around it.

Could you say how you solved it, in case anyone else has the same problem?

I think just setting the Base URL for the shop on the advanced tab of the GooglebaseXML settings should fix it, but I would be interested to know if you have found another solution.

One is the setting you suggested and the other is to manually link to it by removing the http(s) and then downloading the file. Sorry I bugged about it.
