Hi to everyone.
I'd like to write a post for this module.A very useful module that took me a while to understand how it works but finally I manage to find it out.Now I have a problem when I tried to use more than one modcontroller pro modules in virtuemart.I actually wanted to have several banners in several categories in virtuemart component.So the problem is that when i'm entering in the product details page the banner (from random image plus module)is still there but i'm losing this module while i 'm trying to go to the next product details from the navigator into the product details.I tried to check the option shop.product.details but it appears in every product details page despite checking specific categories that i want this module to be appeared.So that means that VM Categories options
and VM Page options and the others option have an independent function that they shouldn't am i wrong on that?In result if I choose to have this module in shop.product.details at vm page if I enter into another category and choose to get product details I'm having two banners.Can anyone help me on that?

Hi, yes I can see what your problem is. It is caused by a problem with Virtuemart. For some reason the 'previous product' and 'next product' links in Virtuemart do not include the category id. This is a problem because VM Modcontroller uses the category id in the product link to tell which category the product is in.

It is possible to add some code to look up in the database the category that the product is in, and I will do this. If you can wait a few days then I will create a new release with this addition.

You are right that selecting the page 'shop.product_details' will select all product details pages regardless of category. It might be better if the category restriction could over-ride this, and I may add this feature to the module too, but it would not solve your problem by itself.

There is now a new release of VM ModController Pro which solves the problems you mention.

You can download it using your original download link, upload and install as normal using the Joomla installer.

It works fine already.All I did was to download again the module and install it not even uninstall the previous.Nice work!
