We have released a new update of our 'Mail This Page' module. This is a module extension for the Joomla 1.5 CMS. It allows a site visitor to mail the URL of the current page to a friend - a great viral marketing tool.

The latest version, 1.1.0, includes improved language support, and includes extended URL detection to bypass an occasional Joomla bug that prevents the correct URL being mailed.

Unlike other similar modules this one is written natively for Joomla 1.5, and so takes advantage of Joomla's security functions.

Usage

It is very easy to install, you just use the Joomla! installer. The only thing that you need to remember is to set the from email address through the module parameters, otherwise it will not work.

The module also allows for a bcc field, and includes spam and email filtering.
